Ryan B. Meikle was born and raised in Idaho Falls and joined Holden, Kidwell, Hahn & Crapo P.L.L.C. in 2009 after working four years for a nationally recognized law firm in the Midwest. Mr. Meikle practices primarily in two areas - business law and estate planning. 

As part of his corporate practice, Mr. Meikle has represented public and private companies in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, business formation, and general business and commercial matters.  Mr. Meikle also represents small business owners and entrepreneurs and helps these clients with legal matters associated with all stages of business formation and ownership, including choosing the appropriate entity structure, raising capital, preparing employee manuals and agreements, and negotiating and drafting leases and other transaction related documents. 

Mr. Meikle's estate planning practice utilizes wills, trusts, insurance trusts, gift programs, and other appropriate instruments to help clients meet their goals for disposing of their assets. Mr. Meikle also helps clients minimize their federal estate tax burden as part of their estate plan.  

Mr. Meikle received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School and received his M.B.A. from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management. While in law school, Mr. Meikle served as a member and a director of the National Moot Court and received honors for Best Oral Advocate. His M.B.A. course work focused on venture capital, start-up companies, and entrepreneurship. Mr. Meikle currently serves on the Executive Board of the Greater Teton Chapter of the BYU Management Society and is the Vice President of the Eastern Idaho Estate Planning Council.  Mr. Meikle formerly served on the Student Chapters Committee of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society.
