Mr. Homer practices in the areas of real estate transactions, commercial litigation, banking, commercial lending, creditor’s and debtor’s rights and business law. He serves as corporate counsel for several local businesses. He is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in the State of Idaho. Mr. Homer has spoken at real estate seminars and lectured on transactions and foreclosures at events sponsored by the Idaho Law Foundation.
Mr. Homer is a member of the Idaho State Bar and the American Bar Association. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1971. Mr. Homer graduated from the University of Idaho Law School in 1974 with a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude. While at law school, Mr. Homer served as Articles Editor of the Idaho Law Review.
Mr. Homer has served as President of the Idaho Law Foundation. During his time as president, he was also a member of the foundation's Board of Directors. He is the former chair of the Real Estate Section of the Idaho Bar, and he continues to be an active member of the organization. Mr. Homer has previously served as the Chapter Chair of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society's Upper Snake River Valley Chapter. Mr. Homer is currently the Chair of the University of Idaho College of Law Advisory Council.
