Fred J. Hahn

Fred Joseph Hahn obtained his undergraduate education at Carroll College in Helena, Montana. He went on to earn his LLB degree from Georgetown University Law School in 1958. In 1959, Fred earned an LLM degree from Georgetown in labor law. He served as an attorney with the National Labor Relations Board from 1958 through 1959. Fred was a member of the Idaho State Bar. He served as a Commissioner from 1976 through 1978 and as President in 1978. In 2000, Fred received the Idaho State Bar Distinguished Lawyer Award, the highest recognition given by the Idaho State Bar. Fred was also a member of the Idaho Law Foundation, serving as Director from 1990 through 1999 and as President in 1999. He was a member of the Bar Association of the District of Columbia, American Bar Association, a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, and a Fellow of the American Judicature Society. Fred passed away in April of 2010.
