Marie T. Tyler

Marie T. Tyler received her B.A. in Political Science, summa cum laude, from Idaho State University in 1979, and her J.D. degree from the University of Idaho Law School in 1987. She served on the Idaho State Bar Family Law Section for over 15 years, holding a variety of offices. Marie received the Award of Distinction from the Idaho State Bar Family Law Section in 1995. In 2004 she received the Denise O'Donnell-Day Pro Bono Award from the Idaho State Bar. She served on several Supreme Court committees including the "Protecting Children of High Conflict Divorce" committee for 7 years, and the "Children and Family in the Courts" committee. Marie served two terms on the Idaho Supreme Court Evidence Committee. She received the Professionalism Award for the Eagle Rock Chapter of Inns of Court. Marie was a long time volunteer for the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA).
