R. Vern Kidwell obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Idaho in 1941. He served his country as a pilot during WWII, after which he obtained his LLB degree from the University of Idaho Law School in 1948. He served as Idaho Falls City Attorney from 1959 through 1963. Vern was a member of the Idaho State Bar, serving as a Bar Commissioner from 1964 through 1967 and as President from 1966 through 1967. He was a member of the American Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, Inc., and a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers. Mr. Kidwell died in 1992.
